Pantera
ID #550
Relinquishment from owner:
Charlie grey Tabby 5 yrs old. Pantera black domestic long hair. Both family pets. Charlie and Pantera have a loving personality. They both love attention, and are very sweet, Pantera is more independent but loves to cuddle and be held whereas Charlie is more needy but doesn't like to be held for very long but loves to nap next to you and loves when you give him a towel or blanket for him on the floor to lay down on or play with. He tends to have a jealous personality towards Pantera. So they'd be better off separate. Charlie is afraid of the vacuum and needs a space to hide away from noise. Pantera will just stay and be in her cubby bed. She isn't afraid as much as Charlie. Charlie and Pantera's life has been indoor cats but occasionally will be let out on front porch that is secured to eat fresh grass and get sunlight for about 20 minutes. Pantera will come in on her own but Charlie would wonder off and I would call him and he would listen and come back in. Charlie is a good listener but Pantera is a Diva. They have never ran out out the house when door is opened. When Charlie once got out the front door I shut it and he came to the door to let him back in. They know inside is more safe.
When I had Pantera I was given a baby pitbull to train, she became very close to him, she would lay next to him and play with him and eat with him. Until 3 months later a new family had adopted him. After that it was just Charlie and Pantera and adults and older children in the home. Charlie and Pantera are good with older children, they haven't been around young kids too much.
Me having to make a decision to find a new family for my fur babies I wanted to make sure they were going to be taken care of and loved and that's when my research ended when I seen the Catmosphere Laguna foundation I knew right away that this is where they need to be to find there forever home. Their warm invite to help cats find forever homes and the dedication to the cats amazed me. You guys are so wonderful for what your doing thank you Gail!
Charlie and Pantera don't have a specific diet other then there regular Purina ONE +plus indoor advantage food. They have two bowls set out for them to have access to whenever they want to eat. They have a water fountain to drink out of.
They share one big little box. I have transitioned our cats to pine pellets and Charlie did well with it right away Pantera on the other hand took a week for her to get accustomed but she does not like it. She rather have litter but the pine pellets is what I'm using and she uses it. I have to make sure there is no towels on the floor because she will go pee on it. But she is getting used to the pellets. She has never did a number two anywhere. I am always keeping their litter sifter box clean for them, they hate when it's dirty. The pine pellets are so much healthier for them and cleaner, keeps floors clean, better for the environment.
The cats love to play with string toys, I made them a homemade one that's connected to a thread and my hair tie on the end. They love it. They are very playful.
Charlie and Pantera take over our living room, it is their space and that's where they spend most of there time, Charlie also likes to go to the back room and sleep. He loves napping on our bed.
These are the only cats I have had. They are very special and unique but I know a family out there will love them and care for them and give them the life they need to be happy.
All Catmosphere Laguna kitties are fully vetted.
