Sophie is a beautiful and rare 5-year-old female Ginger kitty.  She is a calm, “mellow” cat, that only meows when she is hungry or wants treats. She also purrs to let you know she would like a treat! She loves to be around people and get attention—and also likes her alone time. She loves relaxing up high on a cat tree! Sophie came from a large family of sibling kitties and would be expected to get along with other cats. It would be suggested to pair her with another kitty with a similar calm demeanor, or by herself. Sophie would be a wonderful companion for a single adult, or playful addition to a family!

Sophie was rescued after her previous owner abandoned her at the apartment complex where she used to live and was left in really bad shape,  skin and bones due to poor nutrition and an illness called stomatitis. Thanks to a neighbor who took her in and fed her. Sophie was fully vetted and now healthiest I have been. She gets along with cats and dogs and loves to play and interact with humans. She is very affectionate and also loves her alone time. Sophie will let you know when she’s hungry and will purr until she gets food and or snacks. She is litter box trained and loves being an inside cat.
